Modern Lighting Solutions for ATB Supermarket (2 Zaliznychna St, Uzhhorod)

Objective

In a new project for the ATB supermarket in Uzhhorod, Nova Light implemented a comprehensive engineering solution that transformed a standard store into a space of enhanced comfort, pleasant for customers and profitable for the business. The main objective was to create a high-comfort store with non-standard light zoning, unique for the chain. Special attention was given to creating the most favorable conditions to stimulate impulse purchases, particularly of the store's own manufactured goods.

Results

Nova Light designed and implemented a comprehensive solution covering the supermarket's entire electrical and lighting infrastructure. As part of the project, our team developed and installed switchboard equipment systems, internal and external lighting, emergency lighting systems based on industrial battery UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, and a guaranteed general power supply from a diesel generator. This ensures the stable and reliable operation of the store under any conditions.

To adhere to the chain's strict standards for illumination levels and to enhance comfort for longer customer stays, we applied an updated lighting strategy: we changed the color temperature and used solutions that increased the color rendering index. New optical systems significantly reduce glare, while special spectrums for the bakery, meat, and alcohol sections achieved the desired zoning effect:

• A warm spectrum for bakery products to highlight an appetizing crust.

• For meat and sausage products, a solution that accentuates the product's freshness.

• Creation of a premium look for items in the alcohol department.

Thanks to Nova Light's approach, we successfully created not only a comfortable space for visitors but also an externally attractive and prominent supermarket that stands out in the urban ecosystem.
