Lighting for the Bembi Store (Lavina Mall, Kyiv)

Project Manager: Yevhen Klymentiev

Project Timeline: Winter 2025

Objective

While working on the lighting for the Bembi children's clothing store, we faced a challenge relevant to many businesses today: creating modern, comfortable lighting on a very limited budget. The Nova Light team had several clear objectives:

  • Create attractive lighting that would capture customers' attention.

  • Highlight the quality of the products, including their colors and fabric textures.

  • Ensure a comfortable overall atmosphere in the store for both adults and young visitors.

Luminaire for Bembi project

Results

Nova Light's lighting solution for the Bembi store is a perfect balance of cost and quality, which allowed us to avoid compromises on the most important aspect: how the store is perceived by customers. The key to this was our experience working with retailers of various formats and budgets, as well as our in-house fixture manufacturing, which enables us to design and produce luminaires for the specific tasks of a particular project.

Therefore, instead of evenly distributing budget fixtures throughout the entire sales floor, we reallocated the budget for luminaires based on lighting zones and their intended effect:

  • The wall-mounted equipment zone, where customers directly interact with the products, received lighting with enhanced color rendering and texture-accentuating characteristics from the special Premium White spectrum.

  • The central part of the store was equipped with linear lighting of a sufficient level to ensure a comfortable customer experience and an attractive appearance from the outside.

This approach allowed us to optimize the project budget and create a store with high electrical efficiency, a comfortable lighting system, and an appealing look that makes the store stand out in the shopping mall.
