Lighting Case Study for the ISEI Beauty Boutique (Warsaw, Poland)
ISEI is a brand specializing in cosmetics and hygiene products, creating comfortable offline spaces. In 2024, the company experienced significant growth, opening new stores in Ukraine and expanding into international markets. An important aspect of the network's expansion was designing lighting for the new retail locations. Each ISEI store is not just a shopping space, but a complete experience, where lighting plays an exceptionally important role.
Project Task
When developing the lighting concept for the ISEI store, we considered several nuances specific to lighting in cosmetics shops:
Brightness. For cosmetics stores, it is crucial that the lighting is bright enough, but not overly glaring, so that customers can evaluate the colors and textures of products or read the product ingredients.
Product Focus. The use of NL Series N luminaires with a high color rendering index and a special Premium White spectrum, which creates exceptionally comfortable and clear light, helps highlight product shelves and individual items. This creates an accent effect, drawing the customers' attention to the most popular or new products.
Space Zoning. Lighting helps to emphasize different areas of the store: separate zones for decorative cosmetics, skincare products, etc. This allows for an organized space and facilitates navigation for customers.
Atmosphere. It is important to create a space where every visitor feels special. This is achieved not only through the interior design but also through the lighting, which should be unobtrusive and create a sense of coziness.
Taking these requirements into account, we implemented a solution using NL Series N luminaires, which we manufacture in-house.
The Solution
The use of specialized lighting helped create a store that not only attracts but also stimulates purchases. The lighting strategy can be adapted to different conditions, maintaining a recognizable brand atmosphere across all locations, from Kyiv to Warsaw.
